This is not about Carnaval I am not too much of a Carnavals person. But I like theme parties. And I love historic novels. And I always, really always, wanted to play a role in a historic movie. Desperately! I am just too fascinated by all the costumes, hair dresses and castles. I already have my prince, so this was not my motivation; it is totally not about the prince.
You can imagine how delighted I was when I bumped into this princess dress. A princess dress which is not a cheap Carnaval version, but very beautiful tailor work.
Dressing up as a princess is for me not too different from dressing up for an event or just for going out. I am sure that the majority thinks about what they want to portray, how they want to be perceived by their surrounding, before getting dressed.
For a snowboarding event I will probably rather put on some adidas superstars instead of Louboutin Heels. I am invited to a fancy party sponsored by a renowned makeup brand? I will make sure, I am wearing something very arty and a unique lip color.
This is what I adore about fashion! It is a way to communicate without words, a way to reinvent your personality and still being you and most important, it is FUN! Never ever forget this!
…and she lived happily ever after….
I wish you a fairy-tale afternoon.
Yours truly, Jesca
