If you see me on the street and I am grumpy and edgy don’t take it personally! I am doing a metabolism reset and I AM HUNGRY!!!!!!
Let me tell you the story from the beginning: In July I won a three weeks workout with Jennifer Winklhofer drawn by the amazing food blog cookinesi. It included EMS (electronic muscle stimulation) and ladies bootcamp twice per week.
I really liked Jennifers training methods and after the three weeks she offered me a two months metabolism reset program. My curious nature and the many lunch and dinner invitations I had recently made me agree. For me it was clear that I wanted to start as soon as possible, in order to be like reborn for Christmas and especially for 2017!
The programm is a combination of special nutrition, workout and homoepathy. The first three weeks are the thoughest: no coffein, no alcohol, no oil at all, not even body oils! It’s the reprogramming phase of the hypothalamus, the area in our brain that regulates, amongst others, the repletion and hunger. And it’s the phase which I am now in, and which make me be grumpy sometimes, when my desire for a chocolate cake, a plate of pasta or a simple glass of red wine stays dissatisfied. After these though three weeks it gets easier: the following 30 days I should still go without sugar and wheat, but I can start to implement again good oils, such as olive oil, avocado oil and it’s even okay to enjoy now and then a glass of wine.
Twice per week I go to NUYU gym, where Jennifer offers her workouts. One is an 20 minutes EMS training and one is a 45min group training with body weight, the ladies bootcamp.
If you curious to learn more about NUYU and Jennifer click on the names.
After the first phase I will give you a little interim report, how I am and how I have experienced the first three weeks, and just before Christmas my hopefully newborn me will tell you the rest!
So I hope you apologize my grumpiness, just give me a big hug, that equals almost a piece of chocolate!
The pictures where taken by my lovely friend Jolie Zocchi, at the Sparkle press day, where I met also sweet and crazy Yvonne (FunkyForty). The two of them are sweeter than any piece of truffle cake!
Oooooh such a nice post Jesca – not sure anyone could be sweater than truffle cake – hehe…Absolutely adore your outfit!

Danke vielmals liebe Vanessa!
